Halley Skies

As the light starts to return after midwinter we are treated to some spectacular colours in the sky around midday. This gallery documents the light returning and shows some of the structures around base.

A photo of sun-up taken last year. The buildings in the distance are the garage and Drewery (summer accommodation building). Seeing the sun peek above the horizon for the first time in 105 days was a pretty amazing experience.
