This is my pitroom. In the summer we share rooms like this but in the winter there's enough to have one each. Yes that is ice on the window but don't worry it's perfectly warm inside - it's just the window that gets cold! Because of the need to be quiet in the pitroom area to avoid waking the nightwatchman I am hardly ever in my room except to sleep, so its size doesn't bother me.
