Return to the Hinge Zone
Pictures from another winter trip to the Hinge Zone in March 2005.
Near the end of the day the cloud started coming in and we had to make a quick dash for the campsite. When cloud covers the sun it makes it very hard to see features such as crevasses (or even the edge of a large cliff!) so it's too dangerous to travel in. We made it back to the camp before it got too bad and settled in after another very enjoyable day.
