Return to the Hinge Zone
Pictures from another winter trip to the Hinge Zone in March 2005.
After a busy but very enjoyable first day we settled into our tents for the evening. Food is still cooked on old-fashioned primus stoves similar to those used by the likes of Scott and Shackleton as they are very reliable and any problems can be fixed relatively easily. Sometimes you would be forgiven for thinking that some of the photos were in fact from a few decades ago.
