Mast training
Tomorrow I'm off down to Taunton for a week on a Mast Training course. They've got lots of tall radio masts at Halley, so we need to learn how to safely climb and maintain them during the winter months. We're going to the Powergen training centre, so we'll be hanging around on top of electricity pylons in the sunshine for a week! It's also going to be a good chance to meet some of the other Halley winterers, so all in all I'm really looking forward to it.
